Silicon Valley Facials | March 17, 2006

Following Valleywag’s facial comparison of Steve Ballmer and Harrison Ford, I find it inevitable to extend the feature to our most beloved/loathed Web 2.0 personalities. Feel free to submit your own comparisons based on your personal judgement in the comments section.

We begin at the top of the pile―here’s Jason Calacanis:

Calacanis and Depp - two drops of water?

Enrique Iglesias, at a 71 percent match. Not-so-honorable mentions: Sigourney Weaver, Nat King Cole and Kajol.

Scoble’s up, and you won’t guess it. Johnny fucking Depp. I thought MyHeritage‘s technology was decent? Micheal Arrington must’ve covered it (on that note, look below).

Scobleizer and Depp - two drops of water?

Even if facial-recognition technology doesn’t agree, we all know a certain Oscar-nominated actor shares the most striking resemblance.

Surprisingly, Malcolm X sits in a good fifth place in the Scobleizer Look-Alike Challenge™. Other not-so-honorable mentions: Alex Ferguson, Colin Powell and Gerhard Schröder.

Micheal “TechCrunch” Arrington’s turn.

Arrington and John Rawls - two drops of water?

American philosopher John Rawls! Not-so-honorable mentions: BB King, Woody Harrelson and Patrick Stewart.

Another Arrington shot reveals his similarity to Anette Benning, among other females.

That’ll be it for now. I’m getting dizzy.
